    Whilst I am no Tesla fan…. You seriously need your head testing to spend £90k+ on the Audi or Porsche. Spending over £30,000 on a fancy badge is ridiculous.

    I purchased a nice four year old (one owner from new) Mercedes EQC…. Yes it won’t do 350 miles… But it’s a great drive, with decent acceleration, for around 1/3rd of the cost of even the cheapest car here.

    I’m German – and yet: the prices of the Porsche and even more the Audi are nothing but obscene!

      German auto industry is in trouble. BMW still offers keyless go feature from 2005 as an option.

    I do drive the tested Tesla Model Y Performance myself, and am very happy with my purchase and the car overall. I do think it is the best value for money of the cars tested, by quite some margin. That said, money aside, I agree that the Porsche is the best car of the three, I also like its design a lot. The Audi doesn’t appeal to me at all.

    The difference in camera shakes and microphone wind noise in the audi and porsche compared to the tesla is unbelievable. You can’t fake that !

      I’ve just replayed it back and can’t believe how silent the model Y is in comparison. The Juniper is an absolutely awesome bit of kit

    Porsche is 30k more , smaller , fraction quicker, software not as good, charging network is no way as good . Tesla will b able full self drive . I think there getting paid more by porsche to say this

    And again, 65k vs 95k-100k cars.
    When you find one that’s actually equivlant then let us know.

    I mean, why don’t we go the other way, model y performance vs a 44k car (30% cheaper) which are; Audi A3 etron, Skoda Enyaq, bmw ix1, VW iD3.

      I suppose that they’re showing that the Tesla is better than the Audi and Porsche. But I hate Tesla’s with their minimilist interiors and large screen.

      @JLneonhug

      @Andrew_alter_egoI stopped watching it after they went with prices. It’s pointless to compare.

      I don’t hate a larger screen that much to spend an extra 30k, personally, but everyone has a choice.

    So, if you want a Tesla Model Y, a car that is powerful, agile, efficient, practical, spacious, and is the best selling family EV in the world, and is also the cheapest car in this video, buy a Porsche Macan Electric. I’m thoroughly confused by your verdict.

    The Tesla Model Y doesn’t rely on launch control to achieve its maximum acceleration, as full performance is available at all times. The Porsche used launch control, which provides an artificial performance boost. A fair comparison would require repeating the test without launch control.

    They didn’t mention that the Tesla seats fold down under power but also fold up under power plus it moves the front driver and passenger seats to clear the headrests then returns them back where the other two cars are just seat back releases. Cargo space under the hoods may only each carry one but the Tesla can almost carry two

      these have been tested using regular economy models. These are Performance variant so they test the performance.
