The END of US Auto Industry – Manufacturers in WAR with Trump After New Tariff

Completion of US – Manufacturers in WAR with Trump After New Tariff.
Check out the global fallout from U.S. President Donald Trump's 25% tariff on imported cars and trucks and automobile parts, announced on March 26, 2025, and efficient April 3, 2025. It dives into the responses of 7 significant auto-exporting nations– Mexico, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Germany, France, and China– detailing their economic issues, diplomatic methods, and possible retaliatory steps. The script paints a brilliant image of interrupted , threatened jobs, and rising tensions in international trade. It finishes up with an extensive look at the tariff's impact on the electric lorry (EV) sector and conventional gas-powered cars, weighing the short-term U.S. production boost versus long-lasting expenses like greater costs, stretched alliances, and a stalled green transition. Engaging and conversational, this script is ideal for a video explainer breaking down a complex trade policy shakeup.

    European’s can make vehicles that the U.S. wants to buy. Why can’t the U.S. make vehicles the European’s want to buy ?

      The average European does not like American cars because they are too big, we like smaller cars on our roads 🚙🛻

    In Trump’s mind there is no such thing as a friend or an ally. Russia gets close.

    The rest of the world should end all tariffs among themselves and let Trump bring down MAGA with a much lower standard of living. America, the newest Banana Republic.

      We are bracing for it in the US. Something has to stop him and many Americans are cheering on the countries standing up to him, even though it will negatively affect us. Whatever needs to happen. We failed to do it from within, so now we deal with the consequences. I hope we come out the other side a better version. We are disgraced.

    Somebody tell that fool there is no way with the cost of American labor not to mention the expense of creating a factory and infrastructure needed to create a viable concern

      The cost of American labor is what supports over 700 uS Military bases around the world. Not even talking about th submarines that are hiding in the oceans.

    To keep prices down, new factories will be automated with few jobs unless you are a computer engineer. But billionaires will make out like bandits.

      @ETamJP

      Even computer and electrical engineers will not be spared. You just don’t need that many in an automated industry.

      Things may get better with new jobs opening up in new opportunistic areas, but till then, there will be a world of hurt.

    Very easy. Sell cars and mark the price like this:
    base price + 25% Trump tax
    Customers can thank Trump right away

      Don’t be silly, this is the moment to make sure you make a lot of money by screwing your buyers, why 25% make it 250%, winner take all

    A lot of the American cars are too big for a lot of European cities. Pretty well only the small cars could go there.

    In Canada American cars fit the roads but very few can be seen. Mostly Japanese, German and Korean cars. Only thing American you see are those large pick up trucks and we know who drives those. B
