GM’s ABANDONED Factories EXPOSED: China’s EV Army to Invades Canada – $100 Billion Meltdown Coming?!

In the shadow of rusting assembly lines in Ontario's auto heartland, an ideal storm brews: General Motors' Canadian plants, when pulsating with the roar of internal combustion engines, now stand strangely quiet, idled by a sluggish pivot to electrical vehicles. This gripping story reveals the existential risk from China's EV juggernauts– BYD, Nio, and Geely– whose rapid increase, sustained by razor-thin pricing and bleeding-edge tech like blade batteries and AI-driven autonomy, is set to storm North American coasts. From exponential sales rises in Asia to predatory inroads in Europe and Latin America, these "invaders" eye Canada's EV mandates with predatory precision, promising sub-$ 25,000 trips that could eclipse GM's lumbering Ultium strategy.

Looking into GM's faltering shift– stopped BrightDrop production, stopped briefly gigafactories, and a hedge on hybrids– the piece exposes the horror of obsolescence, where legacy ICE fortresses risk becoming ghost towns amid 2035 emission restrictions. Geopolitical stress simmer: U.S. tariffs clash with Ottawa's trade flirtations, sparking "Buy North American" fervor while customers come to grips with cost versus security. Peering ahead, it sketches end ofthe world closures gutting tasks and supply chains, or redemptive retooling through North American alliances. A clarion call for innovation rings out– adapt or perish in the amazed dawn. This tale isn't simply industry intrigue; it's a cautionary legendary of global disturbance, where dragons circle the maple leaf.

The future is electric. Canada’s future is EV agreements that create vertically integrated supply chains that are 100% Canadian. If BYD and Geely are allowed in they must employ Canadian workers and share development of critical minerals, green steel and aluminum, and batteries with Canadian companies. OR build Canadian EVs from scratch and take on the great risk of Chinese competition. Either way, the Detroit 3 are toast for maintaining majority focus on obsolete internal combustion engines and for electing an incompetent president bent on destroying the Canadian auto industry among other things. The last laugh is Canada’s, because we have all the cards. We are the largest customer for US-made autos, like 70% of all US car exports. Those cards? They are contained in Canadian wallets, which will remain closed to buying US cars. FAFO, Mr. TACO.

The solution….. offer China a deal….. Canada will eliminate the EV Tariff on Chinese vehicles IF at least part of the manufacturing is done in Canada. AND, Canada should slap a 10% Tariff on ALL vehicles that have NONE of the production done in Canada. Vehicle manufactures NEED to offer Canada something in return for being allowed to sell their vehicles in Canada!!!! GM, Chev, Dodge, Jeep, Ford, etc can all f*ck off IF they want to abandon Canada manufacturing. OPEN the door to other countries vehicles!!!!
