Hi. Happy to listen to you two. What’s new?

Yay, another fantastic video! Probably an unpopular opinion but I think Redline Reviews is just terrible. They regularly get their information incorrect about the cars they review. A merge with them would definitely bring down ABG in terms of quality and reliable information.

Kyle has already done the Chinese EV trip, I guess you guys don’t have to think about it unless you think you will provide different view. He is pretty geeky in terms of EV details so I guess that’s fine

What would Alex do in China, since this channel is called the EV buyer’s guide (in the USA)? Don’t get me wrong I’d love to see Alex’s insightful review of Chinese unattainium, since he knows how to put together a well edited post, unlike what’s his name?. And there are already plenty of english speaking YT channels covering the Chinese EV market.

FWIW it’s ironic that Kyle is triggered, when he’s asked to give his opinion on a pre-production vehicle, since it’s irrelevant to him until it reaches production (ie until he can play with it). While Chinese unattainium, which most likely will never be available to us is fascinating to him, as long as he gets to play with it and pontificate about his experience with it.

Don’t get me wrong, Kyle is relatively intelligent and insightful, but he is also a manchild with the attention span of a fly. I guess that’s fine??? Personally I’ll take Alex’s more mature geekiness over at Kyle’s childish geekiness….

lastly I look forward to the day when AI can edit out all the useless crap from Kyle’s posts…. And just give me the 2 minutes worth of useful information… Pls excuse my sour grapes, poorly edited Long-Winded rant…. C’est la vie….. Have a nice day.

When can I get a ticket, to the Alex and Travis comedy routine?

Travis makes a great straight man (ie as in comedy).

Alex , What’s your take on the announcement of an upcoming Maverick EV by Ford? And Bill Farley’s subsequent statement that they’re going to focus on EREVs (in general not specifically for the Maverick EV)…. And hopefully with a midgate? but I doubt it.

And less on larger EV pickups, due to battery constraints (Which just seems like an excuse, since sales are so poor)…. Side note maybe Ford should have came out with a PHEV F-!50 and/or EREVs Lightening? To address the range / towing issue

And Travis feel free to interject.

Agree! Auto shows are still relevant and important to consumers. In-person experience is important and a way (the only way? 🤔) to compare competing vehicles/models in one place. That said, the Atlanta Auto Show is a dealer show that manufacturers have largely left and would be dead if it weren’t for other vendors, (cartoon characters, cleaning supplies, etc).
