BMW, Audi and Mercedes STRIKES BACK and SHOCKED U.S. Auto Industry —Trump’s Reaction Says It All!

BMW, Audi and Mercedes STRIKES BACK and Surprised U.S. Auto Industry– Trump's Response Says It All. In a stunning overnight exodus, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi– icons of international vehicle eminence– deserted the American market, activated by a single, destructive policy: President Trump's 200% tariff on foreign-made cars and trucks and parts. Declared via a late-night Truth Social post, "If you do not make it here, do not offer it here," the executive order wiped out the German automakers' U.S. operations, which relied on worldwide supply chains. The tariffs, indicated to force producing stateside, rather made production costs unsustainable, including thousands per car. Mercedes' Tuscaloosa plant, BMW's Spartanburg hub, and Audi's import network collapsed, removing billions in financial investments and tens of thousands of tasks. Dealers, blindsided, ended up being ghost towns; workers staged blockades, requiring accountability. Wall Street insiders cashed out early, while curricula connected to the market fell apart, leaving trainees with outdated degrees. Germany struck back, with Chancellor Baerbock calling the tariffs "financial sabotage," as the EU pivoted trade towards Asia. China took the opportunity, inviting German factories and redefining high-end's center. The car manufacturers reinvented themselves globally, launching electric, AI-driven campaigns, however in America, their tradition lives through underground car culture, where enthusiasts protect these brand names with DIY repair work and customized constructs. This wasn't just a market exit– it was the death of market permanence, exposing the fragility of globalization. Corporate America now questions U.S. stability, and a new era of financial walls looms. The highways will hum with different engines, but the loss of German high-end signals a much deeper casualty: certainty. Was this a vibrant reset or a disastrous betrayal? The answer will shape global trade for decades.

@@AWJ-zf8cfTry owning an Audi or BMW. I’ve had both and they aren’t reliable either. Arguably more fun to drive than the average U.S. vehicle but reliable? Mostly no. When they break, the cost to fix is astronomically higher as well.
Merc, Audi, and BMW will fall apart without the U.S. market. This creator obviously has bias and used a computer voice to hide who he/she/they are.

@@jeremyyaple8498 Those brands are very reliable … as long as they aren’t made in the USA. The real problem has always been American quality.

America first? Ask the companies who are leaving. Even Walmart!
