Acura has provided us valuable little detail aside from saying the new RSX would be an RSX, that it would be electrical, AWD, and have a double wishbone suspension. It'll likewise be built in the U.S.A. and … That's about it.

This looks great. This will be a great ev. And considering Acura Honda always nail their executioner, this won’t be underwhelming…

This RSX looks so generic… Acura needs a real new design.

Not true on enthusiasts not buying this car. The original Acura RSX came over 20 years ago. That generation has more wealth and kids so a compact CUV from Acura is well within the cards.

The thing is… Enthusiasts generally don’t buy new cars in any big numbers.

I like the style. Don’t like the electric door handles.

Why are vehicles so huge today? I’m waiting for a VW ID.3 or Renault R5 size.

For EV, they are huge likely because of the battery packs which are limited by design of the length from the skateboard chassis platform.

I wish EV maker uses a door handle mechanism like the one on Ferrari Roma. it’s minimalistic, aerodynamic and intuitive

That snout is going to take any frontal impact, where have bumpers gone? J3400 charge port in wrong location, right front or left rear.

A surprising number of car buyers want it on the driver’s side front. In all honesty, it doesn’t matter much since DC fast charging isn’t a daily thing and it doesn’t seem that any large percentage of non-Teslas use Superchargers. (Some clearly do, but not as many as i would have thought. )

Has Honda really tried to advance since the 2000’s? I miss the Element, the S2000, Ridgeline and 8th Generation Civic etc. Whatever happened to their Hybrid system that was in the MDX? Now, Honda is boring and just a copy/paste brand between Honda and Acura. I think it is time to cut their losses and close Acura down since the effort into them is minimal. We all know that every EV that is on sale now is a better bet than this. I miss innovative Honda!

What a beautiful audi cadillac bmw tesla mercedes polestar blob thing 😍

The written names vs a logo are to help more easily identify who makes the blob, as most people dont know or care about logos

I’m going call it RSE I absolute refuse to call the crossover SUV an RSX. That’s like calling an Orange and Bird are the same thing

The height of the hoodline is ridiculous, there’s no visibility at all to the front bumper. The whole point of EV is that it’s just a battery and a motor, why are car companies trying to style EV’s as if they still use massive ICE engines under the hoods.

Acura/Honda should just make their core products have an EV option with no design changes. The amount of changes they make for aerodynamics just compromise too much.

Probably the best “sport car” CUV interpretation I have seen yet. Compared to the Lambo or Ferrari, I think this Acura looks better. I think it’s sad they are reusing the RSX name. RSX had its time and place and I agree the R and X are already used in the CUV Acura line up. If this a new direction in powertrain and style, why not give its own name?

Not liking the true coupe-style roofline; that will take away rear headroom, unlike the fool-the-eye high roof hidden by blacked out trim above a sportback curve as you see on the Maxh-E and others.

The best looking Honda EV is made by GM. The Prologue is the best looking by far, even vs this one. Its one of my favorite CUV silhouettes period, BEV or ICE. Because it mostly looks like a regular car. If Acura just offered their RDX/MDX as a BEV option first, it would be a better transition strategy. Then release these new complimentary models once BEV’s are established.
