It’s not everyday you tow with a EV, it’s a new thing, as we progress they will install chargers for this exact reason, but it’s not economical to install chargers everywhere that won’t get much use.
It was only in the 80-90s we had to carry jerry cans with spare fuel incase we ran out in the middle of nowhere, this problem will be solved soon enough, also it’s a 5 min job to disconnect the caravan, not worth creating a video about.
-
Car manufacturers and caravan builders could put their heads together and extend the ev’s range with auxiliary battery built in to the caravan.
-
And an extra motor in the caravan to pull all that weight uphill

Get a deisel…
-
Buy a BMW X5 diesel and with the money you save, you sleep in a hotel.
-
junk
-
LPG and hydrogen is the way forward for now stick to a petrol or a diesel because electric vehicles are not the future
-
Due to the increase in home energy prices I am heating my home with diesel now, well done to all the tree huggers and their carbon zero agenda ha ha ha ha
-
This is great news, hopefully it will mean less caravans on the road on the future
-
Efuels and and electric assist battery is tbe answer. Electric cars dont make much sense
-
Best of luck on that one mate the very reason i wouldn’t buy an ev & towing a caravan really
-
Not feeling the recent scare stories for EV ownership. If you own a caravan stick to ice I really won’t be offended in any way. I presume once you get to your park you have 3 phase leccy or power you can plug car in over night no problem.
-
You certainly do not have 3 phase available on site. Caravan sites don’t even like people charging their EVs on site

Why are all electric chargers placed in the weather. Like they never offer shelter. We are delighted with power sockets here.
-
Problem isn’t the EV it’s the design of the charging placement. They clearly need service station style set ups. Drive in drive out bays
