Other guy is a forgotten distant memory now, he’s literally not been on carwow for years 😂
-
He has a channel of his own. Joe Achilles.
-
@dhananjayringefair enough then, so does yianni but he still shown up to carwow shoots for years
-
@marleyb5342 he was just a special guest, just like Ben Collins has been in a couple of carwow drag races. Joe was never part of the carwow team. Yanni on the other hand, while not part of the carwow team, he’s a very close friend of Matt and the team

The difference is between 2WD and AWD it’s insane
-
Idk if its “insane.” It’s pretty well logical. Makes sense that with double the wheels spinning/contact patch. It’s going to have at least double the traction, if not more. If you want an “insane” difference/comparison? Lookup videos on snow tires. Where they show you how much difference a dedicated snow tire actually makes. You’ll see a 2wd car do more/be more capable than a 4wd/awd with all seasons. You really wouldnt expect that little bit of difference in tread pattern, and the compound theyre made of. To cause such a disparity. There’s some of them where even with 4wd/awd and all seasons, or even all terrains. They can’t keep up, or outdo another, or even the same vehicle in just 2wd with snow tires. Also not just the acceleration, but they end up giving the reviewer so much more confidence. Bc they feel so much more planted, and stable even when takomg turns, or braking, when compared to other tires, or drive types.

@Fly-aaron92the drive train doesn’t make much difference 2WD can launch as good as an AWD it depends on the conditions if grips on the luanch it would have done the same 1/4 mile time ,as for what you were saying about tires I get what you mean because here in South Africa we use all season tires mostly so I don’t think these tires can be compared to snow tires or any tires, snow tires are meant to make driving in the snow easy/safe as for all season tires they are suitable for all seasons but if the snow is heavy then snow tires are the go to even if you drive a 2WD or an AWD car

‘Caution, slippery when wet’.

Not gonna lie, this was more fun than I expected.
-
he wrote his loss with own hands😂

This is great English YouTube channel about cars.😁
-
Por eso necesito la tracción integral! Por la mañana, cuando llevo a los niños al cole tengo que tener buena tracción para llegar a tiempo! 😂 Es muy útil la tracción integral en el día a dia😂
-
AWD just teleports off the line while RWD looks way more dramatic!
-
4wd is great at launching and snow. For everything else, it adds to the complexity(things to fail, tire replacement) and MPG compared with FWD or RWD. Pick yours 😊
P.S. Try to drive a RWD car, the steering is miles better than the other options just because the front wheels are free from gearbox. -
The comparison we all wanted to see. Thank you Carwow.
-
For context I don’t think the m8 has launch control in rwd mode, bc there are other rwd cars that leap off the line, even in wet
-
Even if it had launch control, the track is damp and definitely will do better launch with AWD than any car with RWD

Nice to see Joe back here. I love watching his videos
-
Nice video 💯
-
Matt take more advantage when he chooses wet conditions to give no chance to RWD
-
So a 1968 Hemi Road Runner does the 1/4 mile in about 13 seconds, but on a prepped surface it’s 11.8 seconds. Must’ve been insanely fast for the day
-
Great #short!
-
4 wheel drive traction action
