I’m 2 meter sorry, this is a British channel, I’m 8 Royal Corgis tall, so of course, I’d go by the 7er.

42k for a 1 series is just so ridiculous! I bought a new 3 series for less than that money in July 2020. 😮

      @@escapade1924 truth. I thought it was an X1 – didn’t realize it was just a 1 series.

Yes and with the facelift version prices have gone through the roof, you would have had vernasca leather as standard, now a £1,300 option, adaptive LED lights as standard, now an option, other options from that time have gone up too.

For me to get a 320i now with the same options I have on my 2022 330d xDrive I would be looking at 48k, same as what I paid in 2022 for a car with a much more expensive engine.

I’m picking the 7 series. All that luxury and comfort for the price of a small, cramped 1 Series! It’s a no-brainer for me.

    42k for a 7 series with 15.3k miles is a bargain

That was the last real Series 7 by means of exterior design. A true Luxury representation sedan. The new Series 1 exterior design is mehh and not coherent…but…the interior of the Series 7 got a little bit outdated (already when it was released) and the new Series 1 interior got a really good upgrade, in line with the current line up. Its a pros and cons situation.

I’m picking 7 series. I’d even take the F20 and F40 1series which might also end up being the same price who knows

As soon as you start to drive a 1 Series, they will both be used cars. So I will pick a better used car which is 7 Series

The 7 series will be cheaper to own because the 1 series will lose about 20k in value after 3 years of ownership, the 7 won’t lose as much because it has already been hit by the large initial depreciation
