Starting with the Audi, it's powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce 630hp and 850Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels, and the vehicle weighs in at 2,065 kg. As brand-new, it costs upwards of ₤ 133,000!

Then we have the Tesla. It's powered by two electric motors, and they use four-wheel drive. Combined, they can deliver 460hp and 650Nm. It weighs in at 1,839 kg, and as new, it costs around ₤ 60,000.

      11:08 your RS7 does not have the ceramic brakes. It still has 10 pistons in the front calipers, but the standard steel rotors.

      I also thought that.
      Model 3 was slower but not a huge amount, partially from the beginning even faster and the nose is perfectly normally aligned. RS7 even has Airsuspension, doesn’t it? Shouldn’t that automatically correct?

      @@evan.c43 < what he said. The weight shifts to the rear. So if you run a stiffer rear stup or stiffer front and rear you get more power down. Thats why sports suspensions are hard when driving around town but are great when going round a track of tight bend at speed.

    i call bs on Jack saying matt jumped on 6:07, advancing the video frame by frame it’s clear how both cars start moving at exactly the same time, also it is visible how the hands start to move witch is the criteria on when they should take off.

    The performance for price on that tesla is absolutely insane. However, the RS7 is just art on wheels. I hate Teslas but I have a huge respect for their performance and plaid versions, especially for their price. Can’t hate those, feat of engineering.

    Race Idea: Tesla M3P with 100% charge, Tesla M3 @100%, Tesla M3P at 75%, M3P @ 50% and M3P @25%. Interesting to see how much difference charge makes and at what point does a fully charged regular model 3 beat a M3P with depleted battery.

      @@wilsonguillory2451 – correct. If they put that M3P to condition the battery for supercharging for about 10 minutes, there would be a much different outcome. These guys must not know that. SOC does have an effect after 50-40% depletion but not as much as older models.

    You should get a tire company to sponsor the races. The acceleration and especially the braking, are so dependent on the tire. It makes a huge disparity with braking times. Regardless of the size of the brakes. Ceramic rotors certainly don’t help the braking time either. Just the pads, and mainly the tires
