This is the brand new Renault Twingo!
It's set to go on basic sale in the UK by the end of 2026, and with a targeted price tag of under ₤ 20,000, it might be the must-have budget-friendly vehicle of the year!
The question is: with such a low cost tag, is it more style over substance? Let's take a closer look …
In terms of the outside style, the new Twingo has a lot character! It remains loyal to the original's style while still looking modern. The eye-styled DRLs even more add to the cute design, and the automobile still looks terrific in this brilliant yellow colour. Along the side you'll find windows without seals, and at the back the taillights are shaped similarly to those at the front, once again more adding to the cars and truck's character.
Step within, and signs of the low rate tag start to reveal. Most of the cabin is covered in plastic, but it's not a surprise for a cars and truck at this cost point. Thankfully, however, there are a number of redeeming features, including physical climate controls, an infotainment screen with Google Maps integration, and floor mats with vibrant shapes that are likewise consisted of on the roofing lining!
The brand-new Twingo is a little automobile, so as a result, it has a small battery, clocking in at 27.5 kWh. This is good for a declared range of 163 miles, and it has a single motor driving the front wheels, which provides an overall of 82hp.
