Design wise, it looks like a Renault twingo. Not a Renault 5 -

Nissan didn’t spend much money developing this as it’s just a restyled Renault 5, so I’m not sure it will bankrupt them.

It’s a rebadged renault 5, one of the best selling electric cars in europe. This if anything should help nissan as long as they don’t sell it in europe

The previous model looked a lot better and was a step in the right direction, I guess they needed to carry on the Micra’s legacy and ensure no self respecting motorist would want to drive one.

It does look remarkably like the Renault 5. With Nissan’s link to Renault (still?) it surely shares a lot of components. The headlining stands out but I can also see Renault 5 in the profile, the dash. The rear end light arrangement is very different but that’s about it.
