New Audi Q9 – have they made a HUGE mistake?

The all-new Audi Q9 and SQ9 have been exposed. We'll walk around the outside design, interior design, talk about the engine alternatives and reveal the cost.

Check out brand-new and used car deals with Carwow:

This is the all-new Audi Q9 and SQ9!

It's the biggest production automobile Audi has actually ever produced, both in terms of length, height, and width! It's an absolutely enormous 7-seater!

The concern is, does it do enough to appeal to those of you trying to find a 7-seater when there are class-leaders like the Mercedes GLS and BMW X7 out there? Let's take a more detailed look.

In terms of the outside design, Audi has made an effort to make the Q7 look like a really premium item. Around the back, the panels are all smooth, with an embedded Audi logo design throughout the middle, while there are also curved LED taillights on either side. Being so large, it has genuine existence from the side, with alloys available as much as 23 inches in size! In advance, the Q9 includes a vertical slated illuminating grille, while the SQ9 has a more sporty-styled one. Either way, they're both definitely huge, and they're flanked by more LED headlights, just like at the back.

On the within, both the Q9 and SQ9 interiors are controlled by screens. There's a large digital dial & infotainment screen, and as in all brand-new Audis, there's the choice for a guest screen also. The screens are surrounded by quite a large bezel, however the infotainment system is pretty simple to use. Regrettably, the quality and customisation of the dial screen seems to be worse than on previous automobiles! Somewhere else, the cabin is well-built, with soft-touch materials throughout, and the SQ9 features S-badging on the guiding wheel, embossed on the headrests, and on the door sills.

The range-topping SQ9 will come with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can provide 590hp and 800Nm to all 4 wheels! However, there's a catch … Due to EU regulations, the V8 will only be available in America! For us in Europe, the SQ9 will just arrive with a 2.9-litre V6.

The all-new Audi Q9 will start from around ₤ 100,000. But does it offer enough to sway you away from a Mercedes or BMW 7-seater? Stick with Mat to see on your own!

Soft close doors are cool, but being too lazy to open and close your own door is getting out of hand.

Don’t forget matrix headlights (that are often stolen then cost thousands to replace), chintzy Temu-style light-up brand badges and the removal of buttons or knobs for simple things (which you part mentioned with screens)…
