I had JCW wheel in my clubman Cooper S. It’s not a new thing.

It’s all part of the world we now live in. Manufacturers are afraid to exclude/offend non JCW buyers so they say you can have everything the same Sir/Madam!

It’s the same for Audi. RS3 is the same as S3 and S3 the same as S Line in terms of interior.
I get you are paying for the engine and other spec, but it’s a shame as it just does not feel special inside in comparison.

As a modified jcw owner, I totally agree, but I will never buy the gen4 mini anyway, ruined the car brand I’ve been driving since 07, by making them all automatic transmission only. I’ll stick with my modified 2018 works 210 f56. 😊

I agree. I had an original classic Mini I took to Cooper in Worthing for the JCW upgrade. Shook John Coopers hand when I picked it up. Did the test drive with Mike Cooper. Very special

Isn’t it what most manufacturers are doing with trim levels.

Also 100% agree. Lots of car manufacturers are currently doing the same such as Ford with the STline, Peugeot with GTline etc.

It’s the same as Mercedes. There’s an ‘AMG Line’ option which can be specced on non-AMG models, just for show.
