      Except the term “quality”. Not true for a long time now, quality getting worse for at least 10 years. Mercedes for example is worst offender in terms of interior quality decline – everything squeeks and just looks cheap, audi recently had many quality problems with electronics (a little bit better now)

      If by “quality” you mean it’ll be at the dealership your 2nd month in, then yes. If you want real quality, you buy Asian (Korean and Japanese). Everyone knows that

      Well torque only for 0-80km/h, or while shifting gears, horsepower matters more in the end. But weight, gearing and gearbox speed are indeed super important. And above 130km/h(80mph) aerodynamics and power are king.

But gas is so expensive in germany and my 310 hp cupra with 4 cylinder is as fast as the newest mustang with 450 hp its both 4.9 sec and i have 4 doors, more space,less gasprice and traction is way better because of awd. My decision for the cupra Formentor was clear and inside it looks much better too..

    M2 is winning either way because it makes 525hp in the real world and also it costs like 50% more atleast in america.

    But i wanna point out Sam had no clue how to drive the mustang. Manually changing the 10 speed makes it A LOT slower in the 1/4 mile. Im talking at atleast a few tenths of a second. The best times for s550 and s650 mustang gt 10 speeds bone stock are 11.9X in ideal conditons on a track purpose. They are stupid fast for the price.

  16. @Mister-Brain-Wash Avatar
    @Mister-Brain-Wash

    На М2 стоят не заводские диски, они слишком большие и тяжёлые, что негативно влияет на ускорение автомобиля, и этот спойлер он его только тормозит на большой скорости.

    I predicted carwow would do this exact thing! Take the entire race, take it out of context, and use it as a publicity stunt in a short. Here’s my comment in the full video, that shows all the issues/cheating…
    He’s (Sam is) NOT good at launching it! It takes knowledge and skills to pull off a great launch in a Shelby GT350 (dump the clutch at 6k rpms and modulate the throttle, or the car will bog). There are two levels of traction control and he had it in the “not fully off” setting (hold traction control button for 10sec for fully off). In the US we have laws that protect the consumer, and warranties that MUST be upheld. Therefore, two settings. One for the idiot, another for the skilled driver. Next, these cars were selected to be close in power to weight ratio by their modifications. It’s not german power vs American power. They were both put on a dyno and tested to be a match in power to weight ratio. The test is the German transmission vs US transmission. Then, it’s a manual vs an automatic. Ford makes a very very good 10speed auto, which this is not. Essentially, we have skills of a driver that just got dropped into a car he knows nothing about without practice that is required of all cars, vs a car that is an auto that requires little to no knowledge. Ofcourse, the auto was going to win. Next, lets turn the tables and use a car with a 10speed auto (which would have to be a modified GT since the GT350 only comes in manual) and test it against these two cars, plus a BMW with a manual. That would be more fun and more fair. BUT, we still have an issue, as cars are rated at peak power, not how much average power they have throughout the powerband. A turbo car will have a flat power curve where the power hits early then holds the entire way to redline, while a naturally aspirated car rises in power, and keeps rising until it peaks at the redline. The average power will always be less in a naturally aspirated car than a turbo car, thus the same peak power between the different setups will result in a win for the turbo car. Put them on a dyno and calculate average power for the two, and then match the ratio of that number vs weight… and then you will have the closest race. Enjoy… This is really not complicated to figure out.
