    I also thought it was a bad solution, until I got used to this solution in my id3. After some time I think it is a great solution, because in my previous cars, whenever I wanted to open the front window, I would open the back window first. Now I don’t have this problem, and I will add that the driver most often opens the front windows! 👍👍👍

    To be fair, the amount of times I put the back windows down when I want the front. I think it would work for me.

      The only times I opened them are when I accidentally pressed the rear window button instead of the front window one.

      I have a similar issue. I feel like my car’s window buttons are a bit too far forward. And my natural position grabs the rear.

    clearly all those who say it sucks have never driven a Ford. My 2nd Mondeo and I still put down the rear windows because the button fir the front is unreacheabke without extra effort

    Volvo doesn’t have physical locks. All digital. Had a busted door because of rain 😂. Couldn’t even unlock it

    Because this “Ford” is a rebadged ID4 of the MEB platform, so shares many many common parts, including clearly in this video:
    – The Window Controls
    – The Mirror Controls
    – The Steering Wheel
    – The Drivers Display
    – The control Stalks
    – The Door Handles
    – the Motors
    – The Battery

    and likely 90%+ of the Vehicle is VW.

      It’s one button… I don’t understand the issue. Same way people complained about having media and climate controls on the same buttons in Hyundai or Kia’s recent cars…

    Absolutely right, this is one thing Ford shouldn’t have got from vw from the Id range , there is absolutely no legitimate reason for this since Ford could source from the pony Mach-e

    Somehow I just can’t imagine the r&d they spent on this is less than what they would spend on two more buttons
