    For a fairer fight it would’ve been nice to see an F8 Tributo in place of the 296. With the 296 there it’d just be a question of who’s coming in second.

    Edit: Holy smokes that modded 488 ran the 296 WAY closer than I thought it would. I assumed the 488 would steamroll the lambos up until the 296 where it would lose handily, but it did pretty well!

      About the F8, I feel like that’s the least favorit model from the mid-engine sportclass from Ferrari.

      The 355 was good, the 360 as well, the 430 was good, the 458 was insane, the 488 was the first turbocharged and it was good, and then….

      Then came the f8 and it’s gone a bit unnoticed. And now the 296 as the first hybrid is crazy good.

    The Ferrari 296 was not on QUALYFING mode but was on performance. Only in qualyfing you have the full power and this is proper for drag race. In the other races they put it in qualyfing but not in this case, probably forgetfulness or they want a close race for the show.

      ​@powerslider30477 They know this very well. They’ve made a lot of videos with the new Ferraris. Even Matt’s launch control in the last drag races was horrible. I think it was just something to make the video more exciting, because obviously the 296 is on a different level compared to the others in this race.

      @JacobbeZZ0Yeah they were afraid of showing the 296’s speedometer, they would have been caught if they had shown it, also they brought a Pista Spider while Lamborghini’s were coupés. Also, I see that Mat purposefully changed the Manettino settings in the 296 before racing the Performante, if he hasn’t he would have won like the second race and there won’t have been a third race where he sandbagged the 296.

      To be fair if u never drag raced and ur racing someone’s who’s done it 100s of times ur at a disadvantage right off the start plus doesn’t help that they usually have a delay when u let off till when it lanuches
