I used Bimmerlink to disable active sound design in my car after I did a muffler and resonator delete. Wish I had known sooner that I could disable the fake engine noise with that app and an obd2 adapter/scanner. I was using the obdlink cx but had so many connection issues with the bimmerlink app. It would connect once in a blue moon. Switched to veepeak OBDCheck BLE adapter and had zero connectivity issues with the app.
