It's time for a JDM face-off!
We've got our hands on a Mitsubishi Evo 9, a Toyota GR Corolla, and a Subaru Impreza WRX STI, and the 3 of them are about to go head-to-head over the quarter mile!
All three cars have been tuned to produce comparable horsepower, however which cars and truck will triumph? Let's take a closer look at the stats …
Starting with the Evo, it's powered by a 2-litre 4-cylinder that no produces 406hp and 488Nm. Under the GR Corolla's bonnet there's a 1.6-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder engine, and this produces 420hp and 445Nm. Finally, the Impreza is powered by a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder fighter engine, and this puts down 413hp and 578Nm.
All three vehicles are equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, and each of them weigh in at around 1.5 tonnes.
They're so evenly matched, however can you guess which will come out on top over the quarter-mile? There's only one method to discover for sure … LET'S RACE!
