The BMW is normal, it’s the Urus not putting its power down.
-
For some reason, the Urus has always struggled putting its power down. The Cayenne Turbo (S/GT) has not struggled at all.
-
@@snakeeyes9246Porsche are the kings of launching cars though !
-
Supposed to be the same car tho. Maybe Porsche just have got it w their software? Deutsch engineering over Italian? Idk@@Angus_____
-
@@Angus_____ that’s exactly what I’m saying. It’s strange how the Urus can’t get as much grip as a comparable Cayenne or even something like an RSQ8 or Bentayga. They all share the same platform.
-
No it isnt. Its putting out way more power

Porsche is the biggest culprit!
-
Porsche is the biggest culprit ?
What are you referring to ?
They grossly understate their hp, if that’s what you mean…..
Always have….but you know that….you own one, right !?
Please don’t tell me you’re a trailer park poseur that drives a Kia, but is an expert on Ferraris.
God, where do they COME FROM ??? -
@@Grasshopper0122 Their launch system is the best and most reliable !

WE NEED THE NEW G90 M5 REVIEW
-
I think he has did it just search
-
I’ll review it. It’s ugly and overpriced. I’d like to say it’s better in the flesh like the M3/4 is, but it’s really not sadly
-
@@Pastronomer69 With 820bhp and 1100 NM torque the G90 M5 is no push over / It is stock figures BMW is understating their power figures massively https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3kxC6IokKo

@@Chris-Viper thats not stock figures

@@NotMyAccount BMW has underestimated their figures my dude https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3kxC6IokKo

Most manufacturers give figures under its actual value so in worst case scenarios you will always hit their stated figures, its like when you do them 0 – 60 timings and you find they are 2 seconds quicker than stated
-
I’m not sure you can generalize them as all doing that. I think each OEM do things their own way so it’s not like an industry standard.
-
@ALMX5DP thats true bro but most i seen on this channel have done so haha thats where my statement comes from
-
It’s to stop them getting sued should their cars’ performance decline in harsh environments or through wear and tear over the years.
-
2 seconds quicker 😂😂😂
You meant 0.2 seconds quicker, surely ?

Everyone knows that despite what BMW claims from the factory, they install a little particle accelerator after purchase to give it that little more oomph. The circles on the rear bumper aren’t parking sensors, but actually ion cannons.
-
My type r has them too yaaaaaay
-
Ionic thrust will be the next big thing
-
Well they definitely aren’t indicators, that’s for sure.

Tf u yappin about

Everyone in the car world knows, so no big deal😅

If on a budget: BMW
If money is recyclable: Lamborghini-
“Budget”

130k budget huh

If money is recyclable and want the best : Ferrari Purosangue

BMW, Porsche, and Honda always claim less horsepower than they actually produce
-
No. BMW gives real power to the crankshaft (tested on dyno). This is not the case for all manufacturers (announced power higher than actual power (example: Renault)
-
@@lyesaissi3616 close, they give the real dyno figures at the wheels instead of the crank like most manufacturers
-
As a tuner, I personally found most cars give or take (more give) a few bhp from the claimed amount. What’s more interesting though is how differently the engines behave under certain conditions. For example, cooling. After a few blasts the engine may not get as much cold air depending on the setup IE poor intercooling.

BMW know how to launch a car using most if not all of its power. Its competitors not so much.
-
Bmw puts out way more power*
-
-
Can’t believe how good this is!
-
I believe the bmw actually puts out about 625 to the wheels but the crank is like 650 or something but the crank could be as high as 700
-
G90 review PLEASE!
-
Actually in my experience bmw has always told lower power figures. Why boast and brag when you are indeed the ultimate driving machine!
-
It’s always hilarious when yanni thinks he’s going to win, but then proceeds to get absolutely dumpsterd
-
Despite having a later launch, the BMW had the URUS for LUNCH. 😂
-
Not just BMW. I saw a Dyno comparison to published figures on YouTube and BMW, Audi, and Porsche were about 7% more than published. Lambo was about 5% more. BMW seems to get the HP to the wheels more efficiently.
-
BMW gives real power to the flywheel (tested on dyno). This is not the case for all manufacturers (announced power higher than actual power (example: Renault)
-
BMW, not being as creative of a company as people say it is is no surprise
-
Gearbox can also make the difference. Are so many variables.
-
bmw posts whp figures, not crank power figures. bmw and porsche also post slower 0-60 times than they can actually run but I’m not 100% sure why they do that
