AMG put a ‘FERRARI’ V8 in the NEW GLE 63?!

Mercedes has revealed the upgraded Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 & GLS 63, and we're about to see what's changed in regards to design, interior and efficiency. We'll also discuss just how much we think it will cost.

Check out brand-new and pre-owned cars and truck handle Carwow:

The AMG GLE 63 & GLS 63 have had mid-life facelifts!

It's been 3 years because Mercedes last updated the cars and trucks that were initially released in 2018 & 2019 respectively, so let's see what's altered …

In terms of the outside design, the automobiles still look fairly comparable to the previous editions, with a couple of tweaks occasionally. Up front there's a larger & bolder grille (which lights up during the night), flanked on either side by headlights including enormous 3-pointed stars, just like the AMG GT 4-door. The side profile on both cars and trucks is nearly identical to the previous cars and truck, while the taillights include much more 3-pointed star graphics, and as before, the four enormous exhaust pipes have actually been retained for each cars and truck.

On the inside, there's one essential distinction – the huge wraparound screen that extends across the dash, featuring the digital dials, infotainment screen, and passenger screen! It's the same as discovered in the non-AMG editions of these cars, although here there are some different graphics. The seats feature extra supports, exclusive leather, and there's an extremely similar guiding wheel to that discovered in the AMG GT.

When you peek under the bonnet, you'll find a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, just as you did in the previous editions! However, in this circumstances, the engine has actually been offered a new flat-plane crank! It's the sort of thing you 'd find in high-revving, naturally-aspirated V8s, however, don't expect any extra power – it still produces 612hp & 850Nm, just as in the past.

We do not yet understand the rate, however we can guarantee one thing – neither of these cars and trucks will come low-cost! The cheaper alternative will be the GLE 63, but don't anticipate the brand-new one to cost any less than an eye-watering ₤ 140,000!!

So are you impressed with the upgrades to these top-of-the-range SUVs? Let us understand in the comments!

They know that beyond branding and the name “Mercedes” there’s no way they can justify the price tag, they also know the customer for this kind of car is a person desperate for attention and willing to go into crippling debt to get it

I dont mind it too much in the gle, but the gls’s ones are horrible. I think the real crime is that huge hyperscreen.

It’s not as if it’s not enough, I tow a 3500kg trailer with a 500kg load on the bed in a 1.9 turbo diesel pickup truck, and it’s fine…

@rodinhoo070 There’s a video on youtube by a channel called RBR I believe, and he showed amg’s video on how they sound. It sounds very close to the old crossplane, just a little bit less rumbly. Apparently they did that by changing the flow of exhaust gasses and firing order. Go check that video out.

Mercedes lost their way about almost 15 years ago. I’ve always said the best era of Mercedes is the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000 to 2010…. After that the brand became so bland. Just because it is expensive doesn’t mean it is good.
