Mercedes already had this…

Even the Volvo 850 had a red light in the door panel to indicate that the door is opened… it is a 30 year old car
-
I was going to post exactly the same thing
-
-
I fell like the beep is good enough but cool
-
My BMW G30 does this too!
-
So, BMW is also guilty of gimmicks
-

Oh no, more electronics that can go wrong.
-
The world would be pretty boring if we never incorporated any modern technology into things or advanced technology because one day it might go wrong slightly… Stuck in the Stone Age?

My 2022 Audi Q7 already has that door line assist when incoming traffic… no novelty at all…
-
My ford fucking mondeo does this man
-
2018 Ford has this
-
Ford doing this since like 2010 👁️👄👁️
-
All BMWs are using this feature
-
Possibly, but what I’d really like to see is that a lot of these cars nowadays have mirrors that show a red light when there’s a vehicle in the blind spot. Is it beyond the wit of man to include a feature that stops a driver opening the door and/or requires a manual intervention to open it, if a vehicle is detected in that same spot, when stationary?

My 2022 Seat Leon does this
-
Seat leon had this allready
-
bmw x5 has it since 2020
-
If it was that much of a danger then car door already gone, no more Christmas lights
