New Peugeot 5008 Review: Do French SUVs = the BEST?!

Modification your automobile with :

This is the new !

has released petrol-powered & all-electric versions of the new 5008, but does it provide enough to tempt you far from comparable 7-seaters like the Skoda Kodiaq and Hyundai Santa Fe?

In regards to the style, the 5008 is an enormous enhancement over the previous edition. It's a blocky style that comes with wise contour panels throughout the side, together with the alternative of choosing a contrasting coloured roofing. There are likewise some cool, special alloy styles offered too. The front-end design is super-smart, with a grille that mixes into the total style of the automobile. It likewise includes the standard DRLs, which only assist enhance the front end's aggressive look.

Step within and the interior design is a significant improvement over the previous edition. There's a substantial widescreen infotainment and digital dial screen, and most of the cabin is made of soft-touch products. The little guiding wheel assists improve the sporty feel, and there's a fair little bit of storage offered throughout.

The ICE range starts with a 1.2-litre self-charging hybrid gas engine that produces 136hp and 230Nm. A 1.6-litre plug-in hybrid is likewise offered, which can provide 195hp and 350Nm. There's only one E-5008 choice available– a single electrical motor that produces 210hp and 345Nm.

The ICE 5008 range begins with around ₤ 38,000, while the E-5008 begins with simply over ₤ 48,000. So is it worth sprinkling out on the EV over the ICE? And more importantly, is the brand-new 5008 a much better choice than the Kodak or Santa Fe ?! You'll need to stick to Mat and see for yourself!

According to the bmw usa website the starting msrp of a 530i is 58k. Now of course you will never get that price from a dealer but it is pretty close to the 53k.

You ad the “infotainment package”, the “steering wheel package” the “gear selector package” etc. etc. and it comes out to $104,899.00 for the “base model” then tack on a monthly subscription of $39.99 if you want to be able to use you windscreen wipers

Peugeot are on the way down these days from around 6 years ago. Stellantis is on a major drive to reduce cost and equipment provided.
Renault have overtaken then and have 7 SUVs to choose from. The guy that designed the 3007/5008 left Stellantis and moved to Renault so no surprise they now have the better cars and, you can have EV if you must or better still full hybrid that all produce well over 50 mpg easily. Non of these silly plug in things that cost a fortune to charge. No point saying it’s cheaper at home because that doesn’t count when you go out and public charging is on a par with motorway petrol prices!

How many owners of the previous 5008 would likely have 3 children all of the age to need Isofix child seats? Few. However, it looks like Peugeot has improved the seating comfort for the two outer second row of seats, so the improvements are better for the many and not the few.
