It’s not failing. They aren’t hands free driving features. They’re assistance features. You see on a lot of them that they’re telling you to put your hands on the wheel. They all did what they’re supposed to just some don’t deactivate as fast as others.

@AndrewNiven so during an emergency when passed out behind the wheel when using lane assist, the car should just veer off into a tree instead of following the road, turning hazards on and slowing down?

Yeah I just got back from a 3500 mile road trip with my 2025 Tesla Model 3 and didn’t touch the steering wheel, brake, or throttle once…. i know people have irrational hatred of Musk but the only people you are hurting are you and your family.

These shorts are so below carwow’s usual level of quality, I mean it’s got minimal context and info, AI voiceover instead of the real guy talking and bad and loud music. 🙄

And they’re testing a feature in a way that doesn’t really do justice to what the feature does. These aren’t hands free driving cars. Lane assist is just supposed to keep you the lane while your hands are on the wheel. It’s odd to make this a fail or pass thing when they all day what they’re supposed to do above what’s meant to happen.

The official carwow channel never had good quality. All they can do ist stupid shorts and drag races.
Carwow germany on the other hand is realy good. No idea how thy managed to make the german speaking one so good while the english one is so horrible.

It’s not that they messed up; it’s simply the duration of the timer setting that requires driver intervention.

if lane assist is not calibrated properly none on them would work

Would help to keep the hands on the steering, otherwise it will turn the assist temporarily off 🤨 so ofc it will fail..
