Yes in a straight line. Compare it to an F1 car round a circuit and it would be lapped after just 3 laps.

@CNielsenDK67I went to the 09 Indy MotoGP race with my wife. The rest of the bikes all sounded the same. A loud bark is the easiest way to describe them. Definitely loud. However, they were not enjoyable to listen to. The M1 was music to my ears. I’ll take that all day long.

Just with a ECU flash a 1000cc will destroy, these modern superbikes are restricted to a crazy level from the factory.

Destroy what? They are not restricted, but okay depends where you live of course.

@BaMbOoZeDevery 600cc, 750cc and 1000cc superbikes sold in the world are restricted by ECU mapping. Even with full twisted throttle wide open you don’t get the throttle bodies to open 100% and the AFR are super lean for emissions.
Get real knowledge before you reply. -
@cranky1812 Still they are not restricted and yet again, it depends where you live. True they try to reduce emissions and use catalytic converters, but not all have it.

@BaMbOoZeDwrong again, lol. A modern 1000cc can make well over 200 bhp but they are restricted to roughly 150 bhp range depending on the manufacturers. It doesn’t matter what country you buy these motorcycles.
Also if a manufacturer don’t have a catalytic converter on your motorcycles then they can’t sell them in any country.
