I have a volvo v60 with this google software and i use the voice commands a lot.
Its completely different when you speak with Google vs usual cars softwares -
Sometimes…I try different commands once, think wow thats cool, then never use the feature again haha.

I use voice controls. Have had to force myself and learn how to do it properly. Just like with anything else new, it does take effort on the front end but it’s worth it. Much safer and faster.

I do, when i am travelling with somebody. Just ask them politely to do what you need them to do, and voila.

I’m not in favor of it recording my voice and having an ai analyze it and then sell it to the highest bidder..

I always use them, it’s funny people moan about not having physical buttons when you can just press one and job done.

If i use it for calls it invariably decides to call the last person in my extended phone book, who i forgot was in there, that i would ever want to speak to again. Then ensues a panic to cancel the call before it goes through.

It’s usually slower than then tapping a button, it takes longer to say it sometimes too.

I have a Volvo c40 and I like a lot of things about it but the infotainment system kind of sucks—and not having physical heater controls is the worst.

Never use voice control. I know a single person that does.
