Why Pagani BOLTS cost more than a Porsche 911!

Mat's flown over to Modena in Italy to check out the Pagani factory. He'll begin with a check out to the museum, seeing a few of the earlier models and Pagani creations. After that, he'll go to the factory for a personalised tour with Horacio Pagani.

Explore brand-new and secondhand cars with Carwow:

It's time for an all-access tour of the Pagani factory!

Mat's over in Modena, Italy, and he's about to see simply what goes into producing some of the rarest and most pricey cars worldwide!

To begin with, he's going to see what led Horacio Pagani to where he is today, with a journey to the Pagani museum. He'll examine some of his very first developments, including a bike and a Formula 2 vehicle, while likewise getting up close with some of the first Paganis ever created.

After that, it's time for the factory trip. Mat will join up with Horacio for a look around the factory, but this is no normal vehicle factory! There are no long production lines or a substantial workforce. There are only 300 workers in overall, and every vehicle is hand-assembled by a small group. Every automobile fits in the factory, where it remains during the 9 week build process. This implies every component, even to the tiniest information, has 100% traceability.

With only 67 cars and trucks made in the last 12 months, it shows simply how much detail goes into each automobile. The question is, what's your favourite Pagani? Let us know in the remarks!

Pagani, Koenigsegg and Bugatti: the real holy trinity of hypercars! ❤️

I don’t know extensively much about Bugatti, but I highly doubt Koenigsegg owners would call their cars holy. Especially The Hamilton Collection owner…

@E1N9A8N0DAYh I agree but i still think koenigsegg are great cars with great technology and amazing engineering in house especially they’re engines which pagani doesn’t have but koenigsegg seem to have awful reliability don’t they which lets them down

@AdithyaReddy15 Nothing can sit at 230mph all day, while weighing 2 tons, being comfortable and quiet and that can also be good on a track/round corners when it needs to like a Bugatti

The real flex isn’t owning a Pagani. It’s knowing why it’s worth what it costs.

I knew Pagani was special, but now my mind is blown. The level of detail and utter nerding-out that goes on there is incredible!

On one hand, the craftsmanship is obviously incredible and it’s a very impressive manufacturing process. But on the other hand, all I keep thinking of is: Rich people really don’t know what to do with their money. I mean, we are talking about millions of dollars. After watching this video, I think that Paganis should cost a lot less but rich people have a ton of money anyway, so why not artificially inflate the prices?

The engineering behind these cars are peak, the level of detail and mechanics are enough to keep an adult very busy. Little too no screens I love that part having to see mechanical components while driving man that’s so cool.

In these cars, you still get the feeling of pressing a real button, rather than just swiping your finger across a touchscreen and getting distracted from driving while searching for something in a menu. Unfortunately, the interiors of today’s cars have basically become a sort of “iPad”.

Obvious points aside about passion and build quality, what stood out for me in this video is that Sebastian and Horacio both seem to be thoroughly affable and charismatic. Whilst I’m not the target audience, I should imagine that goes a long way with prospective customers.
