Very cool😊
-
電動格納式サイドミラーが出た時を思い出したよ。
-
How much is that going to cost? When it goes wrong? Not if? But when?
-
Doubt it is hooked to a tertiary Duracell c2032 battery 😂
-
Tesla has had motorised flap since forever. Don’t even need to press a button to close it
-
The BMW service will love it too, 500$ …just for fun, right? 🙂
-
Ah 😂 the motor that moves a motor, so that the MANUAL flap can OPEN.
A U T O M A T I C A L L Y
Yay 😂
-
Let’s test it in freezing winter conditions, maybe some icy snow on top of it! 🤔
-
would probably do well. it’s a BMW, they probably have it heated, I think the Taycan is heated as well
-
@dd-di3mz I doubt that, only few manufacturers have heated flaps, and even they were heated, it is not enough since the freezring conditions almost every time wins, and causes ice to melt and just freeze again, it would create more ice around flap.
Thats why manual flap is always better, no need to fear of it breaking by jamming constantly, when icy conditions happen.

Don’t worry, Germany is a cold country with brutal winters, so they have absolutely thought about this! ❄️
-
You know car manufacturers spend months testing new models in the Arctic right?
-
@Rod_Rydermy 74 plate VW Tiguan hybrid hates the cold. Breaks down, certain doors won’t open from the inside and the charger flap doesn’t shut. POS, it’s a company car and they won’t even take it back!

Mat show us the million dollar check BMW gave you
-
He wishes. Gotta be dissolutioned if you actually believe that.
-
Did you watch his iX3 review? Lots of criticism of the vehicle. This is just an initial studio review listing off the features.
-
-
Now it’s gonna change to all their Model
-
They’re gonna lose their aura
-
My favorite one is the charging port on the new rivian r1s, it like does kinda like the koenigsegg doors where it comes out then rotates up
-
More electronics to go wrong
-
Wooooow … people get easily amused
-
And in 10 years, if the car still works, the plastic cover will snap and eject itself.
-
That’s not a concern, none of these cars are built to last more than ten years.
-
I’m on 6 years and 120k miles in my EV with no flap issues and no noticeable degradation issues. Yes EVs have issues, how about we talk about the real issues instead of supposition?
-
To be more practical in 5 years time we would just break that off and use the button only
If the button still works
-
@pet@petertewilliger1052 because you are barely driving bro 20k miles in a year isn’t much
-
-
Whay do you do of the battery dies 😅
-
8 year old model 3 already had this…
-
Some times the smallest things mean the most.
-
Too easily pleased… 😂
