Looks like it will be as boring looking as their other cars

You don’t buy a VW for looks, but they’ll sell bucketloads to people suspicious of newer brands

Under 25k for the entry model… so £35k for top spec?!?. Will be interesting to see what the Golf is like – I expect very much like the Elroq.

No way this is cheaper than 30k€ for basic here in the Netherlands 🙁 and full trim will be around 45k€ and will still have less to offer than Tesla3 which is bigger car and more powerful. Until the see it, have it driven and see some tests around and costs next to it I don’t buy this thing

286 miles from 52kWh is a cut above the rivals. Intrigued to see the real world reviews

Lets see what becomes of promised 25000€. I think up to 30000€ for actual car. I hope i am wrong. Id really like to buy it if its decently priced.

My first car was a Polo (with an 895cc engine), I cannot wait to get behind the wheel of this car. I just hope we don’t need to wait another 2 years after the proper launch in Jan ’26.

VW have finally seen sense in their vehicles nomenclature, let’s hope they’ve got rid of the stupid haptic buttons and actually integrated the tech properly.

The e-golf had premier in 2013, finally VW bring a okay electric car. Unfortunately the specifications are not in the forefront, barely acceptable in 2026.
