    Premium SUV but in stead of getting high quality buttons, we are getting cheap touchscreens. It is all so wrong.

    1. @TWOTONEFARM Avatar
      @TWOTONEFARM

      WHY do you have to use the touch screen to direct HVAC air direction? What in the literal you know what!! Why no gauges behind the wheel? Been there for 100 years. So lets move it just because. Ugh. Keeping my 2022 forever I guess.

    3. @Mark__A Avatar
      @Mark__A

      @durondaniel No it’s not the same. Not at all. On phones its a win win, as you have a larger usable screen. On cars it’s a lose lose as you cant feel it, need to dig in to stupid sub menus, no proper feedback, not always working, more annoying, more slow, more distracting from the road, to name a few issues…

    4. @samplesongs2224 Avatar

      @durondaniel

      @Mark__Awell yes and no. You could make the argument that smartphones distract you from life 😅 but you are right it’s way more dangerous on the road. But at the same time, you get more options, information, and some things are actually easier. But I do love my scrolling wheel on my Mazda 3 😄

  7. @paulmurray6009 Avatar

      @shaneoneill1949

      @purwantiallan5089Because if they used a pro sport model it would be a lot nicer than the newer model. Using a base model as comparison makes the newer model look better.

      It really isn’t bad at all. Its quite well thought out for what it is and easy to use (again, for what it is). Obviously the older one is better, especially with the i-drive wheel, but the new one isn’t bad at all for what it is.

    It’s crazy how popular car YouTube channels are and how so many of them complain about the same things with tons of comments agreeing but none of the car companies listen to the feedback. People clearly don’t like screens. They don’t like going into a screen to adjust things that used to be 1 button away.

    1. @foxize6913 Avatar
      @foxize6913

      It’s because screens are cheaper and easier to install than the process of manufacturing multiple physical buttons for each model. It’s all cost cutting and maximising profit.
