It's time for an extraordinary Porsche head-to-head!

We have actually got our hands on the all-new Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and it's lining up against the all-new Porsche 911 Turbo S!

We all know by now that the 911 Turbo S rolls up with hybrid power, but the all-new Cayenne is 100% electrical! However does this substantial SUV have what it takes to reduce this amazing sports car? Let's take a better take a look at the statistics …

Starting with the 911 Turbo S, it's powered by a 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six hybrid, and it puts down 711hp and 800Nm. This power is sent to all 4 wheels, and it weighs in at 1,740 kg.

Then we come to the Cayenne Turbo. It's powered by two electrical motors, and these combine to produce an unbelievable 1,156 hp and 1,500 Nm! It may be heavy, tipping the scales at 2,645 kg, but it still introduces like a spaceship!

So will the instantaneous velocity of the electrical Cayenne move it to victory? Or will the considerably lighter 911 snatch the win? There's only one method to find out for sure … LET'S RACE!

      @JR_GermanGarage Raw ICE has likely gone as far as it can on gasoline, sadly. Porsche themselves are investing heavily into cleaner burning “e-fuels” to replace gasoline as a combustion source. The fact that they haven’t given up on it yet means there’s still hope for it. The only other option is to stop the legislation worldwide from choking them out, and that is not likely to happen.

      By carwow standards yes, they dont race on dragstrips nor do they use that foot rollout thing. But Idk if Im mistaken if the 918 spyder has done either 9.7 or 9.9 really is its best. But the Taycan Turbo GT (NOT Weissach package) has already done a 9.8 like the Cayenne Turbo EV.

      @alm@almond7795ah I agree with you but currently the Porsche Cayenne holds the fastest quarter mile of a Porsche Road car and don’t forget it weighs almost 2700 kg and it is an SUV and it has done quickest quarter mile faster than Porsche Taycan Turbo GT 😮
