It's a hybrid version of Lotus's high-performance SUV, and he's going up against among the most popular efficiency SUVs around – the Ferrari Purosangue!

Finally, we pertain to the Lambo. It's powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 that delivers 640hp and 600Nm. It sends out that power to all 4 wheels by means of a dual-clutch automatic transmission, and it weighs in at simply 1480kg. As of today, it deserves around ₤ 215,000.

      Thats because the Chinese own lotus now they dont care about or know what simplify then add lightness means when lotus were in there prime u had cars like the lotus carlton the lotus elise cars that were made with passion not like it is now

      Yeah. I’ve been lucky enough to own an Exige V6 & an Exige 350S. Great cars. When Geely bought Lotus I thought great, now they’ve got some money to build really great cars. What we’ve got is pointless dross…so sad.

      The Cayenne Turbo is 45-50k € more expensive. A more fair comparison would be the Porsche Cayenne S electric, in which case the Lotus would smash it

      It is all relative, if lotus built an articulated lorry you would all expect it to weigh less than 1000kg. 2615 is a lot but its on the lighter side for a hybrid suv.

      What they should do from now on is a normal break test then switch the cars and do it again. It’s kind of useless otherwise when it’s decided by the driver. Alternatively (or additionally), maybe add some good braking distance measuring gear into each car, like Racelogic VBOX 3iS + brake pedal trigger.

    Since you’re braking from 60 mph, just use tha racebox to determine the stopping distance… take the driver out of the equation… Like on the dragrace i understand that you cant use racebox because you want to measure how fast the car starts after you put the foot down, but on brake test you dont need this, just measure using racebox. Or keep doing the “competition” but still show the racebox afterwards to see who cheated by stopping early.

      How? The Porsche is undoubtedly quicker. The Porsche does under 9.9 secs and the Lotus took 11. There’s nothing interesting about a full second gap my friend. Even on the roll race. The Porsche isn’t limited to 147mph like the Lotus is. There is literally no comparing the 2.
