      80.000 kilometers are totally safe!
      Rod bearing maintenance after every 80.000 kilometers and the S85 is fine. Period!

      Cope. The Viper also had a massive rear wing and manual gearbox. Still demolished the M5, and that’s on a channel who are biased against the American cars. S85 will eat itself alive, too.

      At one stage the m5 was going 15mph faster and at the end it was going 20mph slower…
      How is that keeping up? Are people watching the same race…
      These cars are not remotely similar in performance and it was a silly match up. In the only race it was close you will hear Mat shift really early which I expect was done on purpose.
      I think before hand they thought the gearbox on the M5 would cancel out the weight and hp difference. It didn’t and it was a miss match. I love the M5 but the comments are delusional

      The old GT500 has a 5.2 litre engine and 760bhp from the factory.. how does that fit into your narrative?

    Fun race, two awesome cars! For what it’s worth, Car and Driver tested a 2008 Viper at 11.6 seconds in the quarter mile, bone stock, back in the day so this one was a little off the pace.
