This is the brand new Mercedes GLC Electric!

It's the first time we've had our hands on the latest all-electric GLC, however does it have what it requires to go head-to-head with alternatives like the BMW iX3? Let's take a closer look …

In regards to the design, there's no denying this brand-new GLC has genuine presence on the road. The front end is controlled by a substantial illuminated grille, while the creases on the bonnet and vents within the bumper truly contribute to the look & feel of the vehicle. We have our hands on the range-topping edition here, which indicates black surrounds on the grille, flanked by Mercedes's brand-new headlights with the 3-pointed star consisted of.

Along the side, the black surrounds continue around the windows, while at the back, the taillights featuring the 3-pointed star have been added, and the expanded wheel arches are much more evident from the back. But of course, being electrical, there are no exhaust suggestions – instead, all you'll find is a phony diffuser!

The interior of the car is controlled by the 39-inch Hyperscreen, which stretches along the length of the dash. It comes with the most recent Mercedes infotainment system, which is responsive and simple to utilize, although aggravatingly, the environment controls are still managed within the screen! Most surfaces you touch around the dash and centre console are made of soft-touch products, however lean down a bit too far, and there's far excessive scratchy, inexpensive plastic to be found! In general, though, storage is excellent, both in the centre console and in the door bins.

The Mercedes GLC Electric features a 94kWh battery, which is good for a declared series of 393 miles. All variations of the GLC featured dual motors, four wheel drive, and 489bhp. It can likewise accelerate to 60mph in 4.3 seconds.

The GLC Electric begins with ₤ 60,350, increasing to ₤ 73,350 for the range-topping Premier Edition – and that's before including options! So is it worth it? And is it a much better option than the iX3? Stick to Mat to see on your own!

It’s a relatively new system previously only S class I think. Possibly latest E have it too now?

And it’s very good, even better than BMW’s also very good, very fast parking system.

20 years ago a few cars could self park but they did so slowly, to the point that anyone watching would think you’re a nervous/crap driver!

Merc is insanely important cuz it always adopts the latest tech.Mercedes for S class 2 years ago asked LG to innovate something special just for S class and LG automotive display made exclusively for Mercedes new Tandem Oled screen which later came to computers and TV’s and today In mainstream.I know it looks tachy but that display revolutionized consumer electronics and it all started in S class!!
