Swivel seats are good for parents with child seats makes it easier to put and take out kids

It potentially could help people with mobility issues, too. I see no negative. Old vans from the 80s and 90s had stuff like this too if I recall

Exactly. Even though some car seats have swivel functions now, it is definitely for disabled or older folks that could benefit from an easier way to get in and out.

@@micrograhamthe negative is that probably adds a $1500 to the price.

@@float32 I’m not sure if kia is a popular car for mobility (government disability benefit) but that came to my head immediately. Maybe it’s just a silly thing like when manufacturers try to differentiate themselves? However, yeah it has some purposes.

It’s a wonderful feature..remember years ago childrens car seats starting having this swivel function & it was a godsend getting kids in and out. Can see where a person with additional/mobility needs would really benefit. Well done KiaπŸ‘

In japan they welcab. From the tiny nbox to the big boi vanpv’s. Ive seen Alphards with 3 1 in the front and 2 captain style when you can just press q button and the whole seat becomes an electric wheelchair that uses a carseat super comfortable
