Yes, I hate them. With a passion. The best kinda screen is one that folds away. I blame Mercedes, Audi and BMW for this. Grrr

Bugatti had it fine, kept it clean, uncluttered, the only display is the one in front of the driver, as god intended. Why hasn’t anyone learned.

Yeah, but in this case it’s just very poorly integrated. I drive a Tesla Model 3 2021 model and I have no issues with these kind of things. Screen is as responsive as your modern smartphone and with clever finger gestures changing temps is a breeze and trully not any more difficult than a physical knob. As for all the other functions it just works well and most importantly very quick/responsive. It’s laughable that soooo many car brands in 2023+ still make new cars with infotainment / touch sensitive systems that work like smartphone screens did 20 years ago. Especially when it’s concerning cars costing as much as a house.

It works. Only the warning is after the first time vehicle exit without propulsion cutoff. I guess they figure if you didn’t cut it off after the first warning, it was intentional.

By missing out those two lines of code, they saved 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000002 g of weight with the missing electrons. Attention to detail all the way with Ferrari

I think part of the numbers not matching up with the quoted figures is that the car has weighted luxury options and not the hardcore lightest package. Furthermore, Ferrari likes to use their Fiorano track which is much more grippy and slightly downhill.

    4. Urbex Man Avatar
      Urbex Man

@Batu Han tailor maid is « just » for the paint/interior to be how you want it, tailor made is not here to touch at the performance or the mechanism of the car so no, with tailor made you cannot have a AWD 296

    5. Icy DeLight Avatar
      Icy DeLight

many car magazines actually matched the numbers and even bested them, Autobild did 0-60 in 2.7s, and 0-120 in 7.1 and it’s a German magazine. Fiorano track or being Italian has nothing to do with the performances of this car. Ferrari didn’t cheat at all. Stop with the Italian racism and the stereotypes (I am addressing the comments below)

@zix zix zix even just fore the pure driving experience, the steering, the NA engine, the suspension, the transmission, those cars are better picks than a 296, which more me is more flex and high speed performance. 800hp is great but I don’t need more than 500hp for my thrills, so I’ll take the lighter NA powertrain over all the electronics and tech gimmicks the 296 has but that’s just my choice, each to their own.

The ignition on honking didn’t work the 2nd time cause the car thought you sat in your car and then closed the door, that’s why when you did it for the 3rd time it warned since it thought you got out of the car and forgot to turn it completely off! Hope this helps!

The only reason touchscreens were introduced was so we could have an interface which could change. If the buttons don’t change, you don’t need the compromises of touch surfaces. Buttons are not old-fashioned!!! They are instant, give physical feedback and you can find them without having to look at them and take your eyes off the road!!!
