Mat and Racing Motorist Sam are off on another road trip, and they're taking a Porsche 911 GT3 & a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS all the way from the UK to Medspa Francorchamps to put these track-focused Porsches through their paces!
However, they're not simply testing these cars on track, they'll also be finding out what they're like to deal with day-by-day on their journey over. They'll be finding out how they compare when driving through town and on a twisty roadway, while also comparing how comfy their interiors are and finding out which has the much better exhaust note. Not only that, but they'll also be discovering which has the very best boot space and usefulness!
But of course, the centrepiece of this video will be their performance on the track! And in spite of them both being Patios, there's one key thing these vehicles share – they're both powered by the very same engine! As a result, that suggests they're both packing a naturally-aspirated 4-litre flat-six that red lines at a glorious 9,000 RPM! Nevertheless, while the GT4 RS can push out 500hp and 450Nm, it's been dialled up a little in the GT3, putting down 510hp and 470Nm.
Will that slight difference show the difference on track? Or will the hardcore GT4 RS have the edge? There's only one way to discover … LET'S RACE!
