It's time for 2 amazing off-roading supercars to go head-to-head … On tarmac?!
We've lastly got our hands on the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, and it's lining up for a drag race against the Porsche 911 Dakar!
So let's see how these two compare. Beginning with the Lambo, it's based upon the original Huracan, so it comes geared up with the exact same 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10, which in this circumstances can produce 610hp and 560Nm. Power is sent out to all four wheels by means of a 7-speed automatic gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,470 kg (nevertheless, this is the dry weight – we believe the real weight is more detailed to 1,600 kg!).
But obviously, being an off-roading supercar, there are a couple of more modifications over the typical Huracan! It also includes a load of body cladding, off-roading tires, along with raised suspension.
Next up we have the Porsche. It's powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo flat-six which can put down 480hp and 570Nm. Power is sent out to all four wheels through an 8-speed PDK gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,605 kg. Similar to the Lambo, it's also fitted with appropriate off-roading tires.
So the Lambo has more power, but will that be enough to beat Porsche's amazing launch control system? There's just one method to discover for sure … LET'S RACE!
