MID-WEEK 180 – This Metro 6R4 could be the best Restomod yet !

If you could just purchase from one vehicle maker for the rest of your life which would it be?

F1 from Jeddah was perhaps not the best race however great performances from Max and Fernando. Although Alonsos after race penalty was not fantastic. Poor kind from the FIA and race stewards for not making the decision earlier.

This week we got to see the very first pics of a City 6R4 restomod from MST and I remain in love currently. May need to put my kidney on EBay!

    One brand for everything, great question. Porsche for me. Macan/Taycan sport tourismo for daily use and old 911 for fun. Not sure the MST 6R4 is a resto mod, I think it is a newly built car like the Escorts.

    Hi Ped
    One brand for all, as you know I am an Audi mam, but I have to say today I would choose Porsche. Daily Macan, weekend Boxster GTS or maybe 911 Cabrio 🤔. Await your verdict on 4 cyl v 6cyl with interest.
    (My bet is 4cyl). Do not sacrifice any body parts for the Restomod, hardly practical, and the Pups would not appreciate the ride😉

    My one Marque for the rest of my days and my wife agrees is JLR. I have looked at their website re the rest mods of the Mk 1 & 2 Escorts the 6R4 is a cool looking car and in its day unbelievable but i was a Ford man since the age of 5 and the Mk 1 more so as my Dad had the first one in our area until I could afford to be a JLR man as that was my asperational brand growing up.

    If I had to stick with one brand… As long as there’s vRS Octavia’s then I’ll stick with Skoda… I’ve tried other car brands and I always end up back in a vRS..

    I was home in my cabin riding on Zwift as part of my triathlon trying, I managed to get a PB on Alpe du Zwift. At 18:00 I was 30 minutes into a 79 minute effort! I hope the training is going OK.
