Good evening Peddlerz 😊 Like the cycle jumper Ped 🤓👌 Hope you’ve been out in Ruby treating her to a few Broad jaunts! Classic for £25k, a 1970 Mercedes Benz 600🙏. Dacia EV looks decent enough for what you get… An original Renault 5 Turbo EV would be immense! Enjoy Finland, love the Baltic states…looking forward to Drive talk for the classic and modern classic, strong money for them now, especially 80s & 90s, I love mine. Can’t wait to see Friday off-roading and camping in the beast!

Evening all, hope your all well, 25k classic for me would have to be a Frogeye sprite, or Renault 5 Turbo raider 👍

A modern classic, well Pete, it’s a car you have previously owned…I’d suggest getting a low mileage Honda S2000.

For a 25k budget , for a classic it would be a Talbot Sunbeam Lotus, the original hooligan hatchback, and for a modern classic it would be the 205 GTi.

I would also have a Talbot Sunbeam Lotus. A proper hot hot hatch.

I wouldn’t need £25k as I’ve already bought my ‘modern’ classic a 2003 SL500 R230 for just under £10k! Low mileage great history and fantastic condition with a fantastic V8 engine to give any petrol head that certain ‘tingle’…… The rest of the money I could spend on many happy miles of motoring, and yes, any necessary repairs! If you insist on me spending that much then I’d treat myself to the SL55 👍

Moder classic…. Fiat Coupé 20v Turbo. Gorgeous design from Chris Bangle, looks like a mini Ferrari 😊

I’m sick of the rain too! My £25k would go on an early Elise, always wanted one, never quite happened.

Most of the sports cars I owned back in the late 60s early 70s would cost more than £25k today which probably says more about the ones that have rusted away rather than the ones that survived. Having said that if you can find me another Sunbeam Tiger 260 for the money bring it on.

My classic would be a Jag Xjs.Always liked them after seeing the white one in Return Of The Saint back in the day.Showing my age there.

I already have a modern classic, so I would go full Classic and get a 105 Series Alfa Romeo coupe, maybe a GTV. I wonder if there will be enough change to add some choice Alfaholics suspension components. If not save over time and add them later!👍🏽

I was still making dinner when the video went live. Hokkien Noodles, one of my favorite dishes 👍. As for the modern classic I would go for the Porsche Boxster 986S. I had one for quite some time and really loved it. I had the full Fabspeed exhaust and ECU tune on it. The sound was awesome and the amount of power wasn’t too silly so you could really push it before doing crazy stuff.

Love MID -WEEK 180 always interesting inside information for us . Where we are at Recaro USA getting custom made Carbon Recaro Podium for our cars it’s interesting how much measurement and work of whole team it’s involved making sure our seats fits like glove. 🏁🏁🏁

For a future classic I’d go slightly lower budget, Pete. You can pick up a VW Phaeton for less than £10K. Basically, a Bentley Continental with a VW badge.
