Invite to the new 911 S/T. On the face of things, it looks incredibly similar to the GT3 Touring. No shock, truly, as the majority of the bodywork is the exact same.
However, hiding beneath the fairly controlled look is the upgraded and outright raucous variation of the 4.0-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six found in the track-focused 911 GT3 RS. That benefits 525hp and 465Nm.
Instead of using the PDK gearbox of the RS, the S/T takes the six-speed manual from the regular GT3. It features a few tweaks, consisting of a much shorter last drive and a single-mass flywheel.
Despite using the RS' track-honed engine, Porsche engineers have tuned the chassis of the S/T to be the ultimate road-focused device. This includes a streamlined suspension setup and the removal of rear-wheel steering.
