AWD is meant for most things now days
-
As long as it’s rear-drive bias, you can still have fun while using your car all year long.
-
@@snakeeyes9246rear wheel drive can be used al year long as well. Most important thing for either is having the appropriate tire for the conditions.
-
@@ALMX5DP that is true, yes. A RWD car on snow tires will do better than an AWD on summer tires this time of year if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere.

The front wheel arches are too thick

Like your momma π

“So what exactly happened?”
AWD won.πͺπβοΈ-
Joe Achilles channel showed an M4 RWD losing to an M440i xDrive.

From what I have seen the BMW launch control is not very consistent. That AWD should have given it a good 2 car lengths.
-
You talking about the DCT7, this is the ZF8, same consistent launch every time.
And that was also Matβs daily for a year and he if somebody know how to launch it.

β@@josefinkjellsson7051G80 M3 Xdrive with 52k miles. Launch Control has been flawless. Hit M2 button twice to engage. Press the brake then gas all the way down. simple

-
Re rwd was catching up . Wonder what could have happened if we gave them a mile
-
Rwd is a little bit lighter π

-
So, which is which? These short videos don’t really show much..
-
light green = awd ; dark green = rwd
-
-
Imagine having an AWD M3 π
-
So AWD is just a car length quicker to the 1/4mile… and by the 1/2mile the RWD would have overtaken the extra weight and drivetrain loss of the AWD M3.
-
No

@sylvaind.6786Β
Yes
-
-
Rwd is king π
-
Dry track in a straight line is not really the point of AWD.
-
Back when Megumi wasnβt trash
-
awd will win on 1/4 and rwd will win on mile.. because no loose in power separating it on all 4 wheels also little less weight. Simple
