Thanks, fun topic and well done. (realy had a good laugh)
To be honest, this is what the masses mostly do (in Netherlands).
See what the neighbors do, and copy that. It would be terrifying to think for them selves.
Also the nr. 1 reason, why all cars in the street are about the same, deadly boring practical 4-door salons or 4-door SUV’s.
Heaven forbid that an EV is fun, daring, different, innovative, or funky.
The streets in the 60th 70th and 80th used to be full of cars that you could recognize from a mile away.
Now, you need a 10 minutes to find the differences from 1 meter away.

I bet all those Leaf owners were all eyeing your Aurora Green Ariya with envy. That is a very nice car the Ariya. (Or maybe I’m just biased as an owner of a March 2023 Ariya e-4ORCE EVOLVE+). Great video though. I love these random videos. Do some more. And make the videos a bit longer next time by making longer conversations with the participants.

13 houses on our street, only 3 so far with EVs: our eGolf, a VW ID3 and a Tesla Y.

Hi, where is Wookie, aka Tom Ford? Ps love Nickie ❤️ 😍 keep up the good work. I’ve got a leaf and want to upgrade to model 3 or Polstar 2 long range.

Ah… this was such a nostalgic post for me! I owned a 2012 LEAF for over 6 years, 62K miles, and now I really miss it. I needed more range, and thus opted for a Model 3 (ugh), but hope to transition to another EV hatchback in the near future. Nice to see you visited these owners in an Ariya! You’re such a charmer, Nikola.

This is a great video on how the word spreads between neighbours etc. Way back in 2000 a really good friend who lived many miles away bought a MK1 Ford Focus. I got one shortly after, within a few months there were four of them in the small street. You can’t beat word of mouth for marketing.

Orkney was first. They all bought EVs because there was far too much cheap electricity. That was over 7 years ago. Fully Charged did a 3 part series on this 5 years ago.

A large amount of them through Mr Jonathan Porterfield in the early days.
