Why can’t they produce it in European plants? It’s based on the same MEB platform. Traditional companies need to be much more efficient with their capital spending. They are spending much more money than Tesla fortoo less volume.
If European countries starts allowing this, many automobile companies will start moving their production to china and import cars to Europe.
Also, isn’t Chinese operations part owned by Chinese companies? Why does VW let others take the share for the models that they want to sell in Europe?
Looks like they would get same blame with Renault who brings Chinese made Danica to market. Oh, I forget Tesla importing Chinese models before Berlin GF4 starts.
I think it’s a good idea, it’ll get people away from the ICE Sorrento/Santa Fe/Peugeot 5008’s of the world
