I imagine China will jump at the chance to make EVs the globally dominant form of personal transportation, given how hard they have pushed to be lead player in that area. China might avoid setting a hard deadline though.
I’m hoping US will join the fray but I’m afraid we will not get much federal government help on that front. I’m confident US will get there eventually though. Some states like NY and California are pushing for 2035 ban so that helps even if federal government isn’t be able to take action here.

Would be nice but I think the unions don’t want that and that seems to be the higher priority.
Semi-Trucks, Busses and police vehicles need to be targeted first, they’re always running and always on the road.
There also needs to be a *heavy* push to get people into EV’s. More commercials, MSM segments about the benefits and tax incentives.
Until that happens, it’ll be a slow growth as it’s just word of mouth now.
