FYI, that plug is not rated for use in the rain. You need one that has a flip up cover that covers the wire while it’s plugged in Reply
You’ll need to replace that receptacle box with a shielded outdoor one and make sure it is vertical, not horizontal. OR, just not use it at all when it’s raining. Otherwise it’ll short and pop the breaker when it gets wet. Outlet is going to fail.. doesn’t keep water out while in use.
