I don’t know why they can’t find drivers to work 70 hours a week for 70k a year, be treated like shit everywhere they go, and getting into these tiny gas stations with every idiot not giving them room. You’d think people would be beating down the door to drive a 12,000 gallon bomb while tired
Some rapid charging sites have occasionally experienced longer wait times during travel spikes, but at least it’s possible to get a charge. When the trucks aren’t bringing any more fuel, that’s it. You don’t even have the option of waiting.
Between the number of gas stations decreasing and the disruption to their ability to get fuel, at some point I can see range anxiety hitting fossil car owners.
