I like Sandy a lot. The first time I saw him was on the Tesla Model 3 tear down. He ripped it to shreds and I thought he was just another EV hater. However over time he has earned my respect and I would work for him in a New York second. If I were an engineer working for the legacy auto makers my resume would have been in his hands months ago. As an IT guy I’ve bet on the wrong technology a time or two. When it became obvious that the boat was sinking I jumped ship just as fast as possible.
I believe this video has been posted before, but it is very long and what caught my attention wasn’t the LA show, but the couple minutes Sandy says they will hire engineers working on ICE legacy automakers OEMs and tier 1, because it is time to get out before it is too late.

Why are some so insistent that all the legacy automakers will just disappear and everyone will buy Teslas?
