I made the same comment when I saw it in person. It looks small, hatchbacky in photos but IRL it’s a big girl.
Meanwhile I’d really like something a lot more like your V50 that happens to be electric.
Or something styled like the Ioniq 5 that’s the size of a VW Golf.
Reference: My own Volvo V50. The Ioniq 5 isn’t much longer than my car but just looks so much more substantial!
It’ll probably either be an Ioniq 5 / EV6 or XC40 / Polestar 2 for me when the time comes.
I’m in r/ioniq5 and there’s all kinds of photos like this in my feed from new i5 owners. I kept looking at this one thinking “why would you take a photo of a V50 parked next to you, that’s not even electric.” Took me way too long.
