New Biden plan would give e-bike buyers up to $1,500 in tax credits “The current Build Back Better proposal would offer a credit of up to 30 percent against the cost of the bike”

I see the price of e-bikes going up my at least 1k now, since there is “free government money” available now. Same thing happened with EV when their subsidy ran out. The 22 Chevy Bolt was almost 7k cheaper than the 21 after the federal money ran out. Coincidence, I think not.
Well, that’s nice, I suppose. I might buy a small, 250 watt to 500 folding bike, but I’m much more likely to buy a kit to upgrade my existing bikes. I already have two 750 watt bikes, so if I spent a lot on a new bike, it would likely be much more powerful. I wouldn’t get the benefit anyway, due to making too much money.
I can’t see this being very useful in its current form. I suppose if someone finances the bike.

This is fantastic and a great way to accelerate the E-cargo bike revolution!
